In the last couple of years Mainline has produced multiple series of outstanding Limited Edition hookbaits that have been very popular with carp anglers all around Europe. But there have been two amongst them that have been an immense success. They sold out rapidly, caught loads of carp and left carp anglers with empty tubs. Whilst the plan was always to just sell them as a limited run they couldn't deal with the disappointment of the fans and because of this the Scopex & Black Currant and the Pink Pinana flavors have been added to the regular High Visual Hookbait range. This means that all those anglers out there who caught monstrous amounts of fish on these limited-edition pop-ups can now get hold of them again without the fear of running out.
The Pink Pinana is a combination of various fruits including the famous Mainline Pineapple, Banana and Peach Ade. It was the French Korda angler Julien Blot who came up with the recipe which includes N-Butyric acid and top-quality sweeteners. Combined with a soft pink colour it has proven to be very effective on all kinds of venues whilst fishing as a high attract single hookbait or as a standout alternative on top of a baited spot.
"It really smells like an old skool blend…" The Scopex & Blackcurrant pop-ups are based on one of the first homemade batches of hookbaits Dutch carp angler Kevin Diederen from Korda made many years ago. And during the years he has caught many good carp on the creamy, berry-ish combination of attractors. Although there aren't that many hookbaits available in a nice orange colour it has proven to be very successful for some of the best anglers out there. And combined with the super sweet attractors, it's a hookbait that will definitely grab attention!
Completely new to the range is the Crab IB pop-up. And as the name already suggests this hookbait combines a fishy crab flavor with the fruity and successful IB blend Mainline has been using for years. The combination of the two creates a unique smell that certainly will be appreciated by both carp and anglers. Its light pastel colour stands out perfectly on dark and weedy bottoms.
